Let me begin today’s blog with addressing the image that you see above.

Besides the fact that I’ve had enough of the wedding snaps, there’s more to choosing these particular pictures and putting them up together.

In case you’re wondering, Prashant and I do have pictures together, apart from the wedding ones. Just that, these two photos capture us in our truest element. He despises being in front of the camera and I, needless to say, have loved it for years now. So, I took this picture of him when he was busy playing some game on his mobile phone. I did it stealthily. That’s the only way to get him to click pictures, other is to force him into it and extremely rare would be times when he poses for a snap (which was seven months ago!!)

You guys have known me for a very long time now. I mean, I know that I am stating the obvious here but, I love to dress up! I spend a minute or two deciding what I’d wear at home, even if I had nowhere to go. Prashant on the other hand shares a comradery with his ‘shorts’! There’s absolutely nothing he’d trade for those. Nothing.

If at all, we have to go step out for a casual dinner, it’s on the condition that I’d let him wear whatever he wants to- Shorts, t-shirt and chappals. I guess it’s the Mumbai rains that makes the latter the most preferred footwear to wear. For Prashant, I’d say his laziness also contributes majorly to his #ootd.

While I choose my oufits meticulosuly, he has two (now four) t-shirts, a pair of jeans and one shirt (the one you see in the picture) that are his favourites. Thus, I declared that it’s the easiest to spot him in a crowd. He’d either be in his flying unifrom or the casual one. All of this from a wardrobe crammed with clothes.

Since, he wouldn’t let go off the clothing, I decided to pull out a new t-shirt every couple of days and place it in his stack of t-shirts. After considerable amount of cajoling, he would wear that one. Fifteen days later, it’s added to the coveted lot amongst other tees that hang on that nob behind the door.

We’ve had numerous fights over the ‘bathroom’ but glad to say, that is one battle I am winning. hahaha!

Share with me small anecdotes about your married life and how opposite are you both! I’d love to hear!
