Sexy and Sophisticated!

This look is really special to me for a reason that I’d love to share with you all. This silk jacket belongs to my maternal grandmother and a few years ago she gave it to my mom. It was a stole that my grand mum bought for herself about fifty years ago from Mussoorie, just before her wedding.

It was my mom’s decision to get it stitched into a jacket, not because it didn’t look beautiful as a stole but because personally Mum and I felt, if stitched into a jacket we could wear it more often. It was a beautiful silk stole with an elaborate embroidery which in turn became an even more beautiful jacket.

There’s a lot of emotional value attached to this attire. Also, Old is Gold.

Coming back to the outfit I’ve paired this jacket with a faded blue jeans as it makes the outfit look radiant. This jacket can also be worn as a dress, I’ll be doing that look too, but when winter decides to be a little kind to us. As of now, this look is perfect for the cold
