I was meaning to give you guys the perfect Indian outfit for almost any occasion. That’s how I came up with this one. While I did want it to be perfect, simple came as an added bonus.
Whether its your friend’s haldi ceremony or a family get together where you are expected to wear an Indian attire or for all those who are getting late and don’t have enough time to tie a saree, this could be your ‘Go To Outfit’. Also, for those who consider dupatta as a liability, this look shall change your perception. Here’s an outfit that shall give you no hassles along with making you the center of attraction. 😉
I have always loved Indian ensembles, be it sarees, salwar-kurtas, short kurtis, lehenags or anything else. It makes you feel effortlessly beautiful and that’s exactly what matters. For all the times I am confused about what I must wear, I instantly opt for a kurta with palazzo.
All I did in this outfit was to wear the same combination but just make it dressy and wearable for more occasions. I am wearing a tailored kurta with a cream color palazzo which has dull gold detailing at the ends. The chanderi dupatta is my favorite from my closet and if given a chance I could wear it with every possible combination. The pearl necklace is from mom’s collection while the bindi is, and shall always remain my favorite accessory. Also, I’ve discovered how a belt could be used for several purposes than just being left unnoticed around your waist.
Hope you guys like the look! :*

The perfect outfit with the right amount of colors.

The bun enhances the look while the necklace completes the look.

The belt keeps the dupatta in place along with making for an appropriate accessory.

Swirl, dance or hop- the outfit shall remain intact.
